Your job search data should be handled carefully.
Last updated: May 19, 2026. This policy describes what JobSearchingSucks currently collects, how it is used, and what is not collected yet.
What we collect
JobSearchingSucks currently collects the information needed to create and manage your account, including your email address and authentication information handled through Supabase Auth.
If you use application tracking, we also store the job application information you choose to enter, such as company name, job title, status, salary range, location, job link, source, notes, and application dates.
What we do not currently collect
Resume uploads are not currently available. Advanced analytics are not currently available. JobSearchingSucks does not currently collect resume files, resume contents, payment information, or advanced analytics data.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide the application tracking features inside your account, including showing your dashboard, applications list, filters, and basic status summaries.
We do not sell your data
JobSearchingSucks does not sell your personal information or job search data.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and application tracking data.
Third-party services
JobSearchingSucks currently uses Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to operate the app.
Security
JobSearchingSucks is being built with data protection in mind. Resume uploads and advanced analytics will not ship until the storage, permissions, and processing rules are designed more carefully.
